Fómay Naming & Logo Design

A fashion manufacturer needs a more modern name and a fresher look. Here I go:

Back in the day, the Southern Vietnamese had a lovely way to call those with the artistic-manual jobs: “Phó”. The cameraman was “Phó Nháy”, the Barber was “Phó Cạo” and the Tailor was “Phó May”.

I love that name!!! Also, with the client’s aim to cooperate with international brand, I came up with FÓMAY.

While looking for ideas, I came across an old sewing machine at their workshop, and after some sketches, the brand name fitted perfectly into the shape of it. So here we go!
